RMMA CONCERT
With the busyness of my senior year; choir concerts, 5 weekends of musical performances, and 9 college auditions, I was only able to make it to one RMMA Concert this year. However, I was very glad I made it to this one specifically.
I got the privilege to sit front row at your winter concert at The Church at Woodmoor, with a direct view of Dr. Metchkov’s fingers on the stunning grand piano. I had never seen or heard anything like the pieces he played that night. I most vividly remember the sheer amount of passion he played each piece with. As I go into college in the fall, I do not think I will forget about this incredible image. I am so glad I got to attend D. Metchkov’s concert.

Andrea Bonita

Andrea Bonita received a $500 HS Senior RMMA Music Scholarship.

Andrea performed in RMMA's October 2017 concert as the recipient of the HS Senior Scholarship of $500.  She graduated from The Classical Academy High School and is attending the University of Colorado, Boulder, pursing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and a Minor in Business.
Her piano teachers were Donna Caulfield (primary teacher and classical instructor) and Brad Bietry (jazz instructor).  Christina Schwartz-Soper was her HS band director.

Andrea’s audition pieces were Gershwin’s Prelude No. 1 and a Bach piece.
